Fundació Joan Miró - Joan Miró Foundation
Address: Parc Montjuïc
The Fundació Joan Miró holds more than 11,000 pieces by Joan Miró. 400 are permanently exhibited and show Miró's development over more than five decades.
Opening times: Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat 10.00-19.00 (July-Sept to 20.00), Thurs 10.00-21.30 and - Sun 10.00-14.30
FC Barcelona Museum
Address: Nou Camp, Avda Arístides Maillol. Access 9, Les Corts
This museum is dedicated to Barça, the most famous Barcelona football team and its hundred-year-old history.
Opening times: Mon-Sat 10.00-18.30, Sun 10.00-14.00

Fundació Tàpies Museum
Address: C/ Aragó 255 (city centre)
Antoni Tàpies is easily the most famous contemporary Catalan artist. The Fundació Tàpies in Barcelona exhibits more than 300 pieces of his work in an impressive modern building.
Opening times: Tues-Sun 10.00-20.00

Picasso Museum
Address: C/ Montcada 15-23 (old town)
From the age of 14, Pablo Picasso lived and worked in Barcelona for some years. Discover Picasso's work, beginning when he was young and up to his blue and red periods.
Opening times: Tues-Sat 10.00-20.00 and Sun 10.00-15.00
Museu d'Història de la Ciutat - Barcelona City Museum
Address: Plaça del Rei 1 (in the old town)
The city of Barcelona from its Roman roots to the present day. Discover the history of Barcelona and enjoy the Royal Palace (Palau Reial).
Opening times: Tues-Sat 10.00-20.00 (Oct-May closed 14.00-16-00) and Sun 10.00-14.00


Museu d'Història de Catalunya - Museum of Catalan history
Address: Plaça Pau Vila 3
An outline of Catalan history, from ancient history to the present-day.
Opening times: Tues, Thurs-Sat 10.00-19.00, Wed 10.00-20.00, Sun 10.00-14.30
Museu d'Art Contemporani - Museum of Modern Art
Address: Plaça del Àngels 1
Since 1995, the MACBA houses the most important contemporary Spanish and international artists, as well as examples from the late 20th century.
Opening times: Jan-Sept: Tues-Sat 11.00-20.00 and Sun. 11.00-14.00
Oct.-May: Tues-Sat 11.00-14.00 & 16.00-20.00 and Sun 11.00-14.00
Museu Maritím - Maritime Museum
Address: Avda de les Drassanes (at the bottom of the Ramblas on the right)
The impressive maritime history of Barcelona is exhibited in the old Drassanes Reials or royal shipyards. The exhibits range from the middle ages to the mid-19th century.
Opening times: Daily 10.00-19.00

Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) - National Catalan Art Museum
Address: Palau Nacional, Parc Montjuïc
The MNAC (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya) is located in the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc, which was built for the world exposition of 1929. The MNAC holds the largest collection of Romanic and medieval art in the world.
Opening times: Tues-Sat 10.00-19.00 and Sun 10.00-14.30
