What happens after registration

1. Reviewing your application
After receiving the detailed application documents completed by you, with your curriculum vitae (model here) and a letter of introduction, in which you should include your abilities and expectations for the internship we analyse your application and contact the companies relevant to your application. You can take the  Spanish test via the internet by accessing our online campus.

2.
Within 2 working days ...
... you receive information about  the possibilities to arrange your internhsip or not.

3. Confirmation of your registration
As soon as we have found a suitable host company for you, you receive confirmation of your registration from us, as well as an invoice. Your registration becomes legal and binding with this confirmation of participation.

4. Your host company and your internship contract
You receive the address and definitive consent of the host company chosen for you in the destination country. In principle, the company holds a personal conversation with you before you start your internship. An internship contract is then taken out between yourself, the company and Centro Humboldt. Among other details, the contract covers the rights and duties of the internee, the timetable, the duration of the internship and also the name of the tutor provided for you in the company.
Should the arranged introductory conversation not lead to consent on the part of the company, other companies are contacted until a placement has been arranged.

5. Support during your internship
During the internship you are supported by your tutor from Centro Humboldt and also your tutor in the host company.
During this period you can also continue to take part in our culture programme and use our virtual campus.

6. Certificates
You receive 2 certificates: one related to the language course and one to the internship. The first certifies your participation on the course and specifies your level of competence in the language. The second is issued by your host company and describes the areas of work you were employed in and certifies your performance during the internship. Optionally you can also take one of the official language examinations organised by Centro Humboldt for the European Language Certificates (all year, with 6 weeks' notice) or one of the examinations from the Instituto Cervantes (in May, August or November).
