DELE Nivel Superior C 2
The DELE Nivel Superior Spanish exam by the Instituto Cervantes requires a knowledge of Spanish that corresponds
to level C 2 of the European Frame of Reference.
Learners have the necessary language skills in order to take part in demanding communication situations,
not only requiring a high degree of language use, but also knowledge of cultural particularities.
Centro Humboldt has been approved as a language school by the Instituto Cervantes and can hold exams for the official Spanish diplomas from the Instituto Cervantes, in cooperation with ACELE.
Requirements
650 hours of Spanish.
Content of the DELE Nivel Superior exam
The test consists of a written group exam and an individual oral exam.
The written test (lasting 230 minutes) is made up of 4 parts:
Test 1: Reading comprehension
Test 2: Grammar and vocabulary
Test 3: Listening comprehension
Test 4: Written expression
The oral test (lasting 10-15 minutes) consists of 1 part: Conversation

Language diploma
The "Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera" (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language or DELE) are issued by the Spanish Ministry for Education and Culture together with the University of Salamanca and the Instituto Cervantes. They are official language diplomas that certify a knowledge of Spanish for both public and private institutions.
