The success or failure of a journey abroad or an international business relationship often depends on good preparation. Different studies have shown that almost a third of those taking up foreign placements return home before the end of their stay.
Our specific seminars provide specialists and managers, as well as their relatives and partners, with guidance for their new cultural environment.
The aims of our cross cultural training seminars are threefold:
I. Acquisition of new knowledge
The participants acquire new knowledge about
• The politics, history, economy and commercial background of Spain
• Specific culture-dependent behaviour.
• Communication management in personal relationships in Spain.
II. Emotional behaviour towards the target country
The participants
• Reflect on and recognise the importance of their own cultural identity.
• Acknowledge the dynamics of their own and different views of their culture and the target culture.
• Examine the problems of acculturation and culture shock.
III. Communication and behaviour
The participants
• Learn to analyse the spanish culture creatively.
• Get to know the typical behaviour and communication systems of the target culture.
• Acquire the ability to predict, avoid or handle conflicts appropriately.

Duration of the training
